Adrian Steiner is CEO and co-owner of Thermoplan in Weggis. In this role, he is responsible for more than 500
employees. He is also involved in various industry committees, serves on the board of directors of two other
companies and is a strong advocate of Switzerland as a production site.

Adrian Steiner began his career aher completing his compulsory education with an apprenticeship as an
electrician. Shortly aher his apprenticeship, he joined Thermoplan in 1998 as Head of Service. At that time,
Thermoplan had 21 employees. Thermoplan underwent enormous growth during this period, which offered
Adrian many opportunities for further development. He took advantage of these opportunities and, in addition to
his technical work, continued his education in the administrative area.

In 2003, Adrian Steiner was sent to the USA, where he looked after the major customer Starbucks on site. Du ring
two years, he learned to understand the most important customer and to respond to their needs. After his return,
he took over the function of International Business Development and assumed further responsibilities. In 2007
Adrian was appointed to the management team and already two years later the founder family Steiner decided to
make Adrian co-owner of the company.

lnitially closely accompanied and supported by Domenic Steiner, Adrian continuously took on more responsibility
and gradually replaced Domenic Steiner in his operational role, filling his wealth of experience with more and
more know-how. His positive focus enabled him to maintain an overview even in times of crisis. Thus, he led the
team safely through the financial crisis in 2008 as weil as through the Corona pandemic. He always describes his
employees as his most important asset and is committed to providing them with security in difficult times.

Adrian Steiner now lives with his wife and two daughters in Weggis, within walking distance ofThermoplan. He
feels a strong connection not only with the company but also with its location and is committed to making the
region attractive. He is also politically active. He is fascinated by new technologies and is currently building a new
company building in Weggis, which will be the first Leed-certified building in Switzerland. Sustainable business is
close to Adrian's heart and he is committed to it at various levels.
